Greetings!
It is not only an honour and privilege but also a great responsibility to be the President of the prestigious Delhi Management Association (DMA). I express my gratitude to all those who have reposed confidence in me and I assure to do my best to take DMA to greater heights.
Established in 1955, DMA is one of the oldest and most vibrant Management Associations of the country. It is indeed a matter of pride for all of us that this year DMA will be celebrating its 70th anniversary in the month of November. The fact that DMA has made its mark in the management fraternity is because of the excellent work done by many past Presidents, other office bearers, Managing & Functional Committees and its esteemed members.
As President, my priorities are to further contribute in the growth of DMA by expanding its activities - managerial fields, consultancy services; and increase the membership. I visualize DMA as a platform where all members can participate, learn and grow together. As is the practice, numerous Functional Committees have been constituted on contemporary management areas, chaired by eminent professionals, to interact with industries, research institutions, academia & Government and to collate & disseminate information through conferences/ seminars/ MDPs etc. As a premier management body, our endeavour is to help organisations improve their performance, become cost effective, quality conscious, profitable and socially responsible.
I strongly believe that the success of any organisation depends upon the active participation of its members and this is the right time for all of us to come forward and contribute not only in the field of management but also in nation building.
I welcome your proposals at president@dmadelhi.org on how you would like to contribute in taking DMA forward. Your contribution can be in the form of making your organisation an institutional member of DMA, sparing your time as faculty / consulting expert in the various fields of management as well as extending help to organize conferences /seminars etc. We seek your cooperation and active support in making DMA a centre of management excellence.
